Welcome to Borlänge
The railway reached Borlänge in 1875 and led to the construction of the town’s large ironworks in 1877 and things have continued to roll on ever since. Although Borlänge means ‘long-time resident’ in Swedish, there's no scientific evidence that the people here never leave.
You can buy tickets from a ticket agent or at ticket machines at the station. It is also possible to book tickets online via those train companies that offer online booking, or at kopbiljett.resrobot.se.
